The band never played this, we only did covers. This is something I wrote a while ago. I listen to it in the car sometimes on a CD of my music, and it comes on the iPod every now and again when we have it set to randomly shuffle songs.
That was a nice little jazz number. But way too relaxing for me to write to. I was going back and forth between blogging and writing, and when I started your song, I was completely off into daydreaming. Now back to writing for me.
I have more songs that may be more inspirational for writing, surfing, drinking (actually quite a few that could inspire drinking), but many songs involve me singing, which I don't do so well. I can write the music, and the lyrics, but give me a bucket and a tune and you will have major spillage.
I couldn't listen to your embedded song on Saturday, so I'm glad you gave us another way... It was perfect background music for my blog-reading today, so thanks!
I am a children's book author, writing for the kid in all of us.
My book THE MAN IN THE CINDER CLOUDS is the story of Kris Kringle and how he came to be known as Santa Claus. It wasn't easy. Available at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com in print and Kindle / Nook formats.
My book RUDY TOOT-TOOT is the story of a little boy who was born on a bean farm, and his quest to find the right place and right time to use his unique super-power.
Both books are totally awesome. They are available in print and Kindle at Amazon.com

is that one of the songs your band used to play?
trying to figure out how to add it as a ringtone, without being charged 9.99/mo!
Loved it! It makes me want to sit on my deck and drink lots of beer.

I like it! It makes me want to chill out by the beach or something. Too bad I don't live by the beach!
