I was at basketball practice with my nine-year old son the other day, and my wife was home with my six-year old, cuddled up on the couch watching a movie. Very tender moment. She hugged him tight. "I love you," she said.
"I love you too," he said. "Now let's get back to the movie."

Awesome! All boy.
He's also very good at little quips...
When he was three:
Me: How about a hot dog for lunch?
Him: Ummm...how about no?
A couple months ago:
[older brother is acting cranky]
Him: It looks like someone is going to bed early tonight. I wonder who that's going to be...
Hahaha. At least he said I love you.

He's sweet, but brief.
LOL! Sentimental time limit for boys under 10: 2 seconds.
Sure- Then the time diminishes...
I love those moments of sweetness. Savor those.
I've got one of those. :)
Haha :) Adorable! Such a great story moment...very character revealing :)
